The 4th Grade children with their teachers Ms Efi Kalikantzarou and Mr George Magopoulos had prepared a project on the sunflower, its characteristics, daily uses and products. They also presented tales with the sunflower in various cultures and even sunflowers in art. In the end they constructed a collective piece of art with sunflower craftwork.

Ms Marina had the idea of making a wall painting with a cartoon and create it through a happening where children and visiting teachers could participate. We chose Asterix and Obelix and we tried to link the topic of the cartoon with the Solar Energy project. So, we thought that Asterix should have photovoltaic cells attached to his hat instead of the usual feathers. We are still looking for a nice and appropriate dialogue to put in speech balloons and complete our comic .... Any funny ideas???

The third class of the 4th Grade with their teacher Ms Konstantina Pandi prepared some bottles, which were later used to put wine and raki for our guests to take away back to their countries. The children painted the bottles with nice figures of the Sun such as sunrise, sunset, sun behind the clouds etc.
